Shri Naveen Gulati , Director General (Human Resources), Railway Board visits Rail Coach Factory

06.04.2024: Shri Naveen Gulati, Director General (Human Resources) Railway Board, today visited Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala where o­n his arrival ,he was greeted by General Manager ofRCF,Shri. S. Srinivas and other Senior Officers .

On arrival at RCF, Shri Naveen Gulati inspected the coach manufacturing processes in the workshop. He examined various types ofcoaches being made by RCF viz. LHB AC Coaches , MEMU with 3 Phase Electrics etc.. He also inspected the Vande Metro coaches which are being being built by RCF,first time over Indian Railways . Manufacturing of above coaches are targeted for substantial production in current fiscal. Shri Gulati also examined the bogie components in Bogie Shop and their applications in coach bogies . He praised RCF infrastructure for speedy manufacturing of coaches and also gave his valuable advice in the process.

He held a purposeful meeting with General Manager and Senior officers o­n core issues pertaining to Human Resources, production output and manufacturing of new types of coaches in current fiscal.

Shri Gulati, who is Director General of Railway’s Human Resources department held meeting with recognized unions/associations of RCF in which issues pertaining to staff and their welfare were discussed .He stressed upon the importance of cordial relations between unions and administrationand at the same time reaching out to them to cooperatein increasing the production of coaches .

While applauding RCF’s record coach production in 2023-24,Shri Naveen Gulati appreciated RCF’s contribution in making Indian Railways attuned to world standards and stressed upon RCF to work hard to conserve its apex position in designing and manufacturing. He applauded RCF for its technological developments in coach manufacturing and advised RCF to follow the best practices to enhance its production asRailway Board is keen to provide every assistance to it in this field .
