International Yoga Day organized at Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala

Kapurthala, 21.06.2023: International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm today at Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala. The officers and employees of RCF enthusiastically participated in this program organized in the Community Hall of RCF. The program started by lighting the lamps by Mr. Ashesh Agrawal, General Manager RCF, Mrs. Surabhi Agrawal, President, RCF Women's Welfare Organization. Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer and other high officials of RCF were also present o­n this occasion.

Yoga Acharya Shri Karan Singh of Bhartiye Yog Sansthan, RCF unit explained the yoga asanas and their benefits were explained in detail. Sadhaks Ashok Sharma and Paramjit Kaur o­n stage performed Tadasana, Mandukasana, Bhadrasan, Bhujangasana and other asanas for the assembled yoga lovers. Besides, Yoga Acharya Shri Tejbir Singh explained Pranayama and Dhyan kriya with their benefits in detail.

Apart from the main program, trainees of Technical Training Center, Railway Protection Force personnel and employees of various departments of RCF also performed yoga activities at their respective work places.

On the eve of Yoga Day, a special yoga awareness program was organized for the women employees of RCF in which the women employees were sensitized about the benefits of yoga by the yoga teachers.
