Celebration of International Yoga Day in Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala

21 June’2021 : The International Yoga Day was today celebrated in Community Hall of RCF. Complying to the guidelines for prevention of spread of coronavirus, 50 officers and employees participated in the function . Shri Gurjit Singh , Dy.CME welcomed all the participants and explained the objective of International Yoga Day. Chief Guest Sh.Ravinder Gupta, General Manager, RCF inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. Sh.R K Mangla, PCME/RCF and other senior officers were also present in the event.

Sh.Karan Singh, an employee of RCF and Yog Acharya of Bhartiya Yog Sansathan/RCF unit anchored the Yog Aasans and explained the benefits in detail. Various Aasans Bhujang Aasan, Bhadrasan, Padam Aasan, Tadasan etc. were performed. Physical and Mental benefits of these Aasan were explained in detail. Shri Tejvir Singh explained the steps and benefits of Pranayam viz. Anulom Vilom,Sheetali, Bhamri, Kapaal Bhati etc. .

In the end Shri Rameshwar, Principal /Techanical Training Centre thanked all the participants. Officers, employees and trainees of Technical Training Centre actively co-ordinated to make the function successful.

Refreshment was served to all the participants at the end of the event.
