. International Yoga Day Organised in RCF

Kapurthala 21 June 2019: "International Yoga Day" was organized today in Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthalawith great enthusiasm . A large number of RCF officers and employees and their family members gathered in Community Hall to perform Yoga .

The program started with the traditional lamp lighting by Mr. R K Mangla , Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer, Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala and other Officers. After this, the introduction to International Yoga Day was highlighted by Mr. C S Lamba, Deputy CME / M.

In his address, Shri R K Mangla said that Yoga has a complete view towards the good health and well-being of the human beings.

On the occasion, the trainers from Bhartiya Yog Sansthaan, RCF unit, Karan Singh conducted various yoga postures while Tejvir Singh conducted Pranayam and Dhyan and gave detailed lectures about their benefits. Shri Pukhraj, Shri Satvir , Smt. Paramjeet Kaur and Smt. Sumita were present for presenting Yogasanas o­n stage. Claping Therapy and Laughing Therapy were done in the conclusion of the program.

At the end of the program, Mr. Sanjay Mehta, Assistant Work Manager/ Tech. Trg.Centre presented vote of Thanks. .

Staff and Trainers of Technical Training Center made significant contribution with enthusiasm in making the event a success.

It is notable that o­n December 11, 2014, the proposal to celebrate International Yoga Day was approved by the 193 members of the United Nations o­n June 21 and o­n June 21, 2015, it was announced as International Yoga Day. Under this, International Yoga Day is being organized all over the world.
